We recently conducted a business case for a customer based in the UK to automate their cleaning processes. Their brief was to remove carbon, oils, paint and other contaminants from engine components.

The company had 5 mechanics working in their workshop and they estimated that each mechanic spent on average 5 hours per day manually cleaning parts. The company wanted to investigate if an automated cleaning system would be economically viable for their business.
